We had another successful season. Last year my team won Division 4, this season Daniel Miles won Division 3. It went down to last match of the league, Poole needed a win against Ringwood and failed. Great celebrations by our 2nd squad players in the league. This was followed up with James winning the Boardman trophy for most points scored by player in Division 3. After this result Daniel Miles team in Dorset's Division 2 finally secured a win in their last match, to go to the top. This means that the club for the first time will compete in the top flight chess next season.
Thanks to all players in all teams who support the club. All are welcome to play in matches in 2023/2024 season.
